Running the second oldest opera house in San Francisco, which celebrated its 75th year in 2018, she reflects on the importance of singing to keep her health at the age of 75. The filmmaker, a second generation-Chinese American from San Francisco, builds a relationships with musicians and singers of the opera house to reconcile feelings of diaspora and cultural identity; all in hopes to protect and preserve the artistic assets of a generation before him that seems to be dissipating.
